Where Are you???

FOX 5-“Back To You”

Says Poland Collaborating with the Nazi’s

Of  People, Places & Things…

By Eddie “D” Dmuchowski

It was on Wednesday, November 14th , Fox TV, Channel 5’s new sitcom, Back To you, starring two very popular actors. The comedy starring Kelsey Grammar and Patricia Heaton,  in one scene, the character played by Fred Willard urged an employee to go bowling, saying:

"You're Polish. It's in your blood. Like eating kielbasa and collaborating with the Nazi’s!”

“Tonight there was a joke about Poles collaborating with the Nazis in World War II. Half the population of Warsaw was killed in the 1944 uprising against the Nazis and in retaliation the city was bombed on the ground, by plane and then set on fire.

Unlike their neighbor , Czechoslovakia, which surrendered to the Nazi, the Poles heroically resisted the Nazi invasion, resisted during the occupation, enduring terrible atrocities. That heartless joke was a callous insult to the memory of Poles who suffered and died under the Nazi regime.”

This comment was from just one of many Polish Americans who wrote to Fox 5 voicing their displeasure of this slur directed to all Polish and Slavic people. Question is Who wrote this script? What was his nationality? Where were the  censors who were supposedly monitoring show dialog and scripts to allow such comments degrading in this case, the Polish People.

 Another Polish American wrote;

“I am living in the US for 20 years. I love this country very much, but sometimes people  who write these kinds of episodes make me completely sad and disappointed.

My grandmother and my aunt died in Poland during World War II in the Nazis concentration camp.  Nazis also shot my uncle dead because he was fighting in the polish underground army for his country's freedom.

Poland was left to fight on its own against the Nazis when they attacked their country. Six millions of polish citizens died and there is always somebody who is trying to spread lies and accusations about Polish people. It is very sad. By the way, kielbasa is not the number one polish national dish. I do not even like it.”

Trust me… If something was written to slur the Black people, they would have Al  Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and a few hundred, if not a thousand black people picketing the Station!

Well maybe it’s time for every Polish American Organizations to do the same, to find the writer responsible, to have him or her fired and to send Fox-TV for sensitivity training.

There were estimates of over 100,000  Polish Americans who marched and observed this year’s Pulaski Day parade.  I call upon the President and the Board of Directors  of all the Polish American Organizations  bringing the Pol-Am community at large to  launch a protest  against Fox 5 to knock this show  off the air.

If Al Sharpton can do it, why can’t we!

I’m so sick and tired of hearing the Dumb Polish Jokes and the countless number of Slurs and the extreme orthodox Jewish accusations saying that it was their 6 million people that were put to death.  Needless to say, if such a slur was hurled at them saying that their Kosher Salami’s contained Pork and Matzo was not kosher… Watch what would happen!

This is pure unadulterated Defamation! Maybe it’s time for as I had said earlier, no longer be the victims of these degenerated warped minds who feel that they can write anything they want and get away with it.  What we really need is Lech Walesa!

I want to see every chapter of the Polish American Congress, Nationwide, to standup and be counted. I know one thing for sure and as President of the American Polish Council of Long Island,  we will protest!  As of this writing, I will be seeking legal advice if a class action law suit for defamation can be launched against Fox 5.  In the meantime you can call:
